Challenges brought on by Covid-19 continue to rapidly increase growth and talent demand in the cybersecurity industry. With industry reports estimating as many as 3.5 million unfilled cybersecurity jobs, high demand has produced higher than average wage-earning potential. This entry level course provides instruction and hands-on experience in COMPTIA-A+, COMPTIA Security+, and Cyber-Analyst Training to enable anyone who is interested in a career in cybersecurity to learn the basics and have access to careers with uncapped growth potential.

Audience Summary:

This course is designed for students who are looking to learn the basics of cybersecurity. No prerequisites are needed. Class options available for the blind, visually impaired, and disabled. 

10 Week Course Outline: 

  • Week 1-4: COMPTIA-A+ Certification
  • Week 5-8: COMPTIA Security+ Certification
  • Week 9-10: Cyber-Analyst and Incident Response Training

Career Support:

COMPTIA-A+ and COMPTIA Security+ exams, introduction to recruiters when possible, Indeed and LinkedIn training for job hunting, access to state and other agencies wraparound services (resume writing, mock interviews, etc).
